This week was a big one because I promoted Kalli Prins, our former Head of Growth at Her Workplace, to VP of Growth & Experience. 🎉
This promotion is not just about a new title — it’s about recognizing the kind of leadership that builds from the inside out.
From the very beginning, Kalli has been someone who leads with clarity, compassion, and conviction. She’s made a lasting impact on how we grow, how we serve, and how we show up as a company.
This is Bigger Than a Title Change
Kalli has shaped so much of our team’s experience — from spearheading growth projects and launches to helping us define how we create community and care in every part of the business.
Her thoughtfulness, strategic vision, and ability to bring people together has made Her Workplace an exciting platform to build — and a more impactful place to lead from.
Promoting Kalli is a reflection of the values we hold: that leadership is about responsibility, not visibility. That investing in people is the most powerful way to grow anything that lasts.
Leadership Isn’t a Solo Journey
If there’s anything I’ve learned about being a first-time female founders, it’s that this company is not about me — it’s about the people who choose to build it alongside me.
The ones who show up with courage, who challenge the status quo, and who care just as much about the mission as they do the metrics.
As a founder, there’s no greater honor than watching someone step into their next chapter of leadership — and knowing you get to support them every step of the way.
Rethinking What It Means to Lead
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on what leadership actually looks like.
Not the performative kind. Not the polished, “personal brand” kind. But the kind that quietly shapes culture. That takes care of people behind the scenes. That chooses integrity over ego, and responsibility over recognition.
In this season of business, I’m seeing more founders — especially women — share the harder parts of the journey. The messy middle. The uncertainty. The reality. And while I think transparency is powerful, I also think we need to be mindful of why we’re sharing. Is it to build trust — or just to build a narrative?
Because true leadership isn’t what happens on camera. It’s what happens in the one-on-one check-ins. In the decisions made when no one’s watching. In how we treat people in seasons of change and challenge.
Building With Integrity
At Her Workplace, we don’t want to replicate old models of power under a new aesthetic. We want to build something different — something more human.
That starts with how we promote people. How we celebrate them. How we create cultures where women are lifted up not just in theory, but in action.
Kalli has embodied that kind of leadership from day one. And this promotion is a reflection of the kind of environment we’re committed to creating — where great work gets recognized, and great leaders are given the support and opportunity to rise.
Congratulations, Kalli!
Thank you for the intelligence, heart, and steady leadership you bring to this team. You’ve already done so much — and I can’t wait to see how your voice and vision continue to shape what we’re building.
Let’s keep creating a future where more women rise — and more women lift each other as they do. 💪🏾
Because leadership isn’t a title. It’s a daily practice. And this is exactly what it looks like.
